 For more than 25 years Affiliated Artists' commitment to historic craftsmanship has garnered recognition in renovation and restoration. S.S. Peter & Paul, Independence, WI At Saints Peter & Paul a failing roof resulted in severe water damage. Paint as well as plaster peeled and separated throughout the interior. Affiliated Artists met with and counseled the parish as to the steps to take before restoration and redecoration could begin. When these issues were resolved, the wall and plaster surfaces were stabilized and prepared for decoration. Stenciling and color choices as well as renderings were presented for incorporation into designs of merit. Upon agreement of one, two areas of the space were chosen to paint out samples of the preferred. After adjustments were made, the final application could begin. Such projects are time consuming and require dedication from the parish community as a mutual relationship of trust is built to ensure that the desires of the parish are understood and interpreted in a manner consistent with the sacred space which will long honor the historic heritage of S.S Peter and Paul.
